Just a few years ago, photoshopped images were something of a novelty. We published a list of sites where you could gaze at the multitude of ways that models were altered. The practice has now become so commonplace that there are websites devoted to pointing out all the mistakes made in the industry.

[Forum] Don’t Give Up Trying to Lose Weight

Yea, I bet you’ve been there too. You try to lose weight, AND IT WORKS FOR A PERIOD OF TIME, then you just gain it all back…. -_-

I don’t remember how many times I’ve tried to lose weight, but here I am on the same train AGAIN, trying to lose the same pounds i tried to lose last week, last month, last year. It’s just so frustrating!!

[Forum] Why Does My Heartbeat Race at Night?

I notice that recently I can’t fall asleep at night despite feeling sleepy, and my heart is racing really fast. I think it’s because I’m anxious or stressed out.

I exercise in the evenings on my stair climber and do crunches and arm weights. I’m not overweight, in fact I lost 20kgs over a span of a year and been maintaining it fairly well with cutting down my food intake.

While there is no clear definition of what constitutes “unsafe” weight loss, it’s probably fair to say that “The Biggest Loser” flirts with that blurry line at the best of times. Add some additional measures to the already-extreme methods imparted on TBL contestants and you have a recipe for a potentially dangerous situation.
