I’m almost 25 and a mom of two young kids (aged 7 and 3). I am 5′8” and 160lbs. Wow, just typing that makes me cringe!

I understand that in order to lose weight, you have to burn more calories than you consume. I have been doing that and to no avail. I am still the same weight, and so depressed. I don’t want to, and will not resort to any diet pill or fad. I want to be healthy and do this the right way, but nothing seems to be working.

Does anyone know if there is a link between bloating and chia seeds?

After eating less than a teaspoon of chia in the morning in a muffin (12 of these contained around 2 tablespoons of chia seeds) I have experienced intense painful bloating, and cannot eat all day. I can barely move.
